Joshua has been sending me pictures of his adventures in San Antonio. He and Baker have been traveling the streets of down town. First Let me introduce Baker...I think his first name is steve? Doesnt really look like a steve to me. Maybe a stevie though.





But they have commandeered the nick name "the mormon twins" But couldn't be more different in appearance . Baker is 5"6 dark hair. As you know Joshy is WHITE WHITE WHITE and tall! They are bunk buddies, shower buddies, church buddies, gym buddies and I suppose they have become bosom buddies by now. Every time I talk to Joshua on the phone this kid isnt far from him. I am so glad he has a good friend. ITs really hard to be true to your self in the army. Guys are getting drunk, cursin and just being stupid. But these boys- my boy are keepin it real and being good. I can't thank Baker enough for being his friend. Joshy would be super lonely and sad without him.
Its really hard being apart from him but its only 2 more months. Then Oliver will be on his way :) And then hopefully we will move some where far and exotic. With my luck it will probably be kentucky.

Aubrey got new boots...

I couldn't get a good picture of her... She likes to move around alot. But this lil girly either wears these boot or her ballet shoes...I love my neice.

Joshua passed his NREMT test. He is now an EMT. I am so proud of him. Next is the whiskey side of his training. Good luck soldier! Being away from him has kicked both our trashes. SOme days I get so tempted to get up and fly to San Antonio and steal him! I know its not sensible. We are both looking forward to spring. We will get to live with each other again and our lil Ollie will be here. I really miss my best friend. Its been hard not having that outlet to go to. The silver lining is that we only got like 3 more months! Less than that!
As for now I am just enjoying my sisters and my nieces and nephews. Which i cant complain it always nice to have so many people around me that love me. I need to start knitting again. I have been slackin. I wanna make a few things for Oliver too.
My pregnancy is going great...well if you call rascals and the gopher ( arm extender) great. haha, SO if you see me in the grocery store in those old peoples rascals than you know I am saving my babies life. Thats what my brother in law Jake told me when I started complaining. Made me feel super guilty and talked some sense into my head. And my sisters namely Lara thinks its HILARIOUS when I go shopping with her. If we miss a row I have to back up and it makes a beep beep noise. She thinks thats just so funny. I dont blame her I would take full advantage of my "disabilities" haha.
Oliver is growing great and kickin like crazy. I just got to take easy for our lil dude. Well thats all for now. Enjoy this studly picture of my husband. He is showing off his new running shorts!

Good Bye 2009

Happy New YEAR!

So Christmas didnt work out as planned but turned out wonderful! I am on bed rest so we had to stay home. Joshua and I got to have our own lil Christmas morning by ourselves. First time! We just watched movies and relaxed. It was heaven. Hearing the crackle of the fire, and having my joshy home was the highlight. We managed to get a few photos thanks to Lollie POPS and tra. I just couldn't go with out getting a few shots of us.
Joshua left on the plane today. Sad. But I am doing okay. I am glad its a new year and our baby is doing good. Happy New YEar!

Oliver Twist

Hey! SO I got an ultra sound today and everything looked great. My placenta healed and Ollie is growing on track. Joshua got to go so that was pretty special too. We got some great face pictures of oliver. He was so cute. Moving around like crazy! I just love this baby. my baby.

Nightingales

I've been wondering something...am I vain? Yep. My family would tell you so. But I think we all have inherited this gene. I decided I and we need to take more pictures of us. So during Christmas vacation we are gonna take lots of pictures and get a our pictures professionally done. I am so excited for that! We haven't taken pictures since like our wedding! Our lovely friend Cami is gonna do it for us! And I know they will just turn out gorgeous! Even when her subjects are not gorgeous...

Lately I have been so happy. From the news of finding out that we are having a boy- Ollie. To buying Joshua' s plane ticket for christmas. He gets in on the 18th! I am getting so excited! Oh yeah and of course Christmas. We are gonna spend it with Joshua's family in California. We used to hop in the car and go down there all the time. Some really sweet car trip memories. So this year we decided to do it again. I am gonna be burning The Road on disc for us to listen to. One year we listened some crazy Dean Koontz book. HAha it was the dumbest 16 hours I spent of my life. So sticking to a classic this time :) I have never read it but its in Oprahs book club and Joshua loves this book. So I hope its good!

Then back home spending New Years with my family. Maybe climb the ol' hill in Queen Creek. I haven't done that in forever. We will probably do a lil christmas program before Christmas. We are doing a White Elephant/ Yankee SWAP. Any good ideas of what I should put in? I wanted to crochet some Naughty Knits but I dont think that is "useful" to Karen and spencer right now. haha. I also can't wait to meet my lil niece Daphne. I hear she is just a dolly. And I also cant wait to see Davis and Aubrey too! I love my nieces and nephew! Exciting plans ahead. What are your plans? NeWS neWs NEWS

Okay first off I need to wish Joshua a Happy BIRTHDAY! So I called him like 10 times today trying to get a hold of him because he had another fun surprise. So he calls back and is like"is everything okay?" Then I told him the fun news! We are having a BOY! I am so excited. My ultrasound got moved up due to scheduling and a water break in the office. I went to the hosipital and got an ultra sound there instead. I got to see our lil Oliver moving around and kickin. It was the coolest thing ever! I am 19 weeks and 2 days So the due date is APril 24th as of right now. Great news!
